This is the second time we have stayed in the Hotel Diocleziano and, as we were the first time, we were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bedding was changed daily, as was the contents of the complimentary mini bar. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been a bonus. The breakfasts were very nice and the staff in the breakfast room were very friendly. The staff in the reception were extremely helpful and friendly as were all other members of staff. I could not fault anything, except the price. When we visited the hotel 2 years ago, in the same month, the room rate was almost half of what we paid this time. We do intend returning to Rome and would like to stay at the hotel again, but it all depends on the room rate available at the time. I would be loathed to stay anywhere else, but with the higher rate for the rooms and the rate of the euro against the pound it is a very expensive short break holiday. We hope to see you again.
